Move over Words with Friends, Scramble with Friends has arrived and it’s the best thing ever since scrambled eggs. Okay joking. This boggle-inspired social word game requires players to form words. Players have to create words from the letters jumbled in a rectangular grid. They will need to drag their fingers over the letters to form words.
The more words they make, the more they score. But they must be quick to rack their brains, because each turn lasts only two minutes. There are two rounds and each round lasts 4 minutes (2 minutes for you and another 2 minutes for your opponent). The player who forms the maximum number of words wins the game.
The latest word game from Zynga has a very simple interface. And since it has been released for iPhone, players will find it easy to form words, thanks to the touchscreen-based controls. The game’s addictive and helps players to expand their vocabulary. However, there are players looking for some cheats and tips for Scramble with Friends because of the time limit that restricts them to create few words. - Zynga has come up with a novel idea – tokens. Much like the Arcade games, Scramble with Friends will require tokens to start the game. The good news is that tokens regenerate after twenty minutes.
- When your turn comes, you’ve three power-ups to use. You can select two power-ups. Of any two power-ups you select, the first one is free, but the second one will cost you one token.
- Use your extra powers carefully. I would recommend the Freeze and Inspiration power-up in any game you play. Freeze gives you twenty seconds extra, whereas inspiration provides one word hint. When you use the latter, a word will be highlighted in flames.
- Any round after the first round has scoring modifiers. Much like Words with Friends, this social game has certain tiles that double or triple your scores. You can use the above Scramble with Friends cheat apps to form words automatically. This will help you score more points as it can quickly form words and double/triple your scores.
- Make use of the letter “s” as much as possible to create plurals. Create a singular word and then form a plural of the same word if there’s any S on the grid.

Really? Cheaters app? Why even play if all you're going to do is use a cheater's app.
I have the free version of scramble with friends and it has frozen. I tried to hold the home button down for 5-6 seconds but it didn't work. Any other ideas?
SOme times people do not finish their game. How do i get rid of this so I can play more games. I have 18 unfinished games????

I totally agree with JJ about cheating. Why even play if you can't do it with JUST your ability and wits?
If my game freezes, I've found that turning my iPad off, then on again, corrects the problem. Also, I am at a loss as to scoring in Scramble With Friends. Sometimes I feel I have made many words and get a very low score. Other times, my score is much higher than I expected. Any ideas?

Ive had it freeze several times, best thing is to delete the ap and then reinstall. also i found out it was always against the same person so instead of pressing the play again, find them using the find friends and create a game that way. Hope it works!
How do you find the real competitive players? I came here looking for competition. I didn't know there was a cheat app, but I don't even care. Tell me where to find someone that can compete with me.
How do you clear or delete unfinished games that are open?
I love this game, but hate how some players quit after one round and I end up with stale games where the players go idle for days as opposed to just resigning! Wish there was a cancel function or a time limit in between turns...
What do the little boxes on top of the letters mean? Like the "tl" and such... how do they effect your score or can you use the letters in the little box to add to your word?

DeWayne, the TL/TW mean triple letter or word points. DL/DW is double. Use these to get more points per word.
The Inspiration button - sometimes it give two-letter hints, sometimes 6- or 7-letter hints. What's tells it what kind of words to show? Does it have to do with the kind of words you've already made from playing?
Love this game! I'm not that great yet tho. But cheating is not an option!
I keep having trouble with scoring. Some words that I found do not show up as having been found in the end, and frequently my words are not scored correctly. How can a 2 letter word only be worth one point when each letter is worth at least one point? Screwy math.
I can't figure it out.....sometimes it takes my words other times it doesn't. Sometimes the letter that I have touched don't show up so my word is not spelled correctly. Also do you have to tap the check ark when your done your word to start a new one

No one answered the cancel stale games question... Is that because it can't be done?
All 2 letter words are worth one point regardless of the letters used. In other words, dont bother with them.
To cancel a game u are playing u can pause it and from the menu and click resign. If u want to opt out of a game click on it and at the bottom there is a flag (I think) click on it and it will let u resign.
Why does my screen freeze when a new player invites me on Words with friends? I have to turn it off and on again to play the other opponents. Any way to avoid this?
Why does it appear that they take some words twice? If you use a dl or tl, can you have a word counted twice if you spell it coming from different avenues? ie: the dl and tl are e and a. I have a t and l from both sides. If I spell teal coming from the left, can I also spell it coming from the right? Is that what is happening, or an I just getting credit for it twice? Sometimes you play so fast you can't tell why but you know you did that word already.
It counts twice because it lets u input a word that doesn't contain a DL TW DW tile and one with one of those tiles. But u have to first do the one without the extra point tiles first Then do one with. What I'm still trying to figure out is why sometimes I get different times for freezes.
I would like to get rid of games in play, i have to many in finished games and cant start a new one but my oppnents have stop playing so i cant play it now :( is there a way to get rid of them all?
to delete games that are not finished that is in waiting for "their turn" Select and hold the big square with the initial on it on the one you wish to terminate. After a couple seconds release and you should have an option to delete placed over the initial. Then just select delete. If it starts a new game, hit your "back" button on your phone and try again.
Tried the last suggestion and it does not work. HOW do we DELETE games with players who won't complete the game!??? Somebody MUST know! Very frustating. Does anyone else get weary of "More than 7 days ago"???

I was like u guys whom also wld like to delete those users who are idle or leave the game un-played for days... What I did was, I did not uninstall the app but instead, I clear the data...go to settings,manage applications... Then u need to re-login bck to ur FB acct. Hooe this helps. Cheers!
The comment made by EdnaQistina works.... do the clear data thing, then exit out of the game and sign back in.... all of my old games are gone, but my current ones are still there!! Thankyou Edna!!

I have no more inspiration power ups, why and where can I get more please?
I just started playing and am confused by the inspiration power-up. How many words is it giving me? And then when I get a word, why doesn't it go away?

Cheater app? Seriously... Ugh just when I thought I found a game unlike words with friends where players can't cheat. You only have two minutes anyway, and I don't think it can compete with an experienced players skill and strategy. I'm online searching for the high scorers because I rarely find good competition on random matches. Chaosskierchic is my name. Invite me please if you are also bored of beating everyone without even needing the assistance of power ups lol. I love a challenge :-)

also i believe the limit of games u can start is 20 just like the other zynga games but u can have more active games if people challenge you so if u want to play more ask someone to challenge u! as for more challenging players, my friend ixsc is pretty even with me. jonorrhea is really good even though his word ct is low hes a veteran boggle player who finds an inordinate amount of longer words. _fire is also a very good player. there is one guy who is amazingly good, like in another league--has scored 201 words and 3800 in one rd before. whats crazier is he only uses 1 powerup--he is the only guy i cant beat and dont have a winning record against but he gets so many challengers that im not gnna give his username. if u challenge and pwn me, ill give it you--lets get some games going!
I just played someone who went from playing mid-level words in our last game to getting the first 10 listed big letter words. Geez REALLY? I hate cheaters and will resign asap! AND regarding players who stay in you queue for days, random players are s'pose to fall off on 6th day and invitees on 12th day of no play... after 3 days tho, I kindly msg. stagnant players asking for their resignation and it works 60% of the time. If you have players after those times frames, customer service is prompt to remove them for you.
I used to be able to use 3 tokens in a game and now I'm limited to two. How did that happen
